The department participates in scientific and scientific-technical work related to the development of applications, technical tasks for scientific work, and the development (revision) of sections of scientific and scientific-technical documentation in accordance with the requirements of current regulatory documents and the results achieved in the field of formation, maintenance, and use of the insurance fund of documentation of Ukraine;

performs scientific and technical editing of reporting scientific and technical documentation for compliance with the requirements of technical tasks, current regulatory and organizational and administrative documents;

participates in the development of proposals for the Thematic Plan of the Research Institute of Micrography, as well as the draft Thematic Plan;

analyzes the results of scientific work, develops and submits reports, analytical and explanatory notes, and other documentation to the management of the Research Institute of Micrography;

prepares materials for the Scientific and Technical Council of the Research Institute of Micrography and the State Archival Service of Ukraine.
