The department's activities are aimed at researching and developing regulatory documents on the formation, maintenance, and use of insurance documentation funds, performing work on state, interstate, and international tandardization in the field of insurance documentation funds, reprography, micrography, photography, and emergency safety.
The department provides the following services: development of national standards, organizational standards, instructions, methodological and other documents;
harmonization of national standards with international, regional, interstate and, if necessary, with national standards of other countries;
conducting an expert review of the current technical regulations for the comprehensive standards УInsurance Fund Documentation,Ф УSafety in Emergency Situations,Ф УPhotography,Ф and "Reprography. Micrography" and, if necessary, making changes to them; coordination and preparation for approval of draft regulatory documents;

provision of methodological and advisory assistance to cadets, students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine, and mentors of cadet training groups of the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine regarding the activities of the creating a regulatory framework for enterprises in other industries, developing and implementing a quality management system in accordance with DSTU ISO 9001-2015;

providing interested legal entities and individuals with regulatory, legal, and methodological documents of the УInsurance Fund for DocumentationФ system.
