Scientific-Research, Project-Design and Technological Institute of Micrography (SRI Micrography) established in February 1993 on the basis of the Kharkiv State Design Institute of General Mechanical Engineering (Order of the Ministry of Machine Building, Military-Industrial Complex and Convention No. 2 dated January 4, 1993, and Order of the State Scientific and Production Center of the Insurance Fund of Documentation of Ukraine No. 4 dated February 24, 1993).

The creation of the SRI Micrography was preceded by January 1, 1969 – August 11, 1986 – Special Design Team No. 2 of the Dnipro Branch of Ipromashprom, Kharkiv, Order of the USSR Ministry of General Machinery No. 253 dated July 23, 1968.
